The club meets every Wednesday evening at the Grove Green Community Centre, Maidstone, from 7.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. The cost is £2 per night.
New members and biginners are welcome. All dances are usually walked through first by the MC depending on the complexity of the dance and the experiance of the dancers.
The club was originally formed in 1975 to help raise funds for Maidstone Mencap. That continues to be our aim and all our profits go to maidstone Mencap, particularly for the benefit of the children's playschool at Cobtree hall, Mote Park. In this financial year we have given Maidstone mencap £2,500. In the previous ten years we have been able to give £2,000 each year.

In addition the members of the society can participate in the many dances and events run by the other members of KASS. This provides a very full and active programme.
