We meet most Wednesday evenings from the end of September to the end of June during term time.
The fees per term are £14.00 plus £1 membership, however, to pay per night it is £2.50 plus £1.00 for the membership fee.
Throught the year we run four dances, a ball and a Ceilidh on Saturday nights at local venues.
In addition the members of the society can participate in the many dances and events run by the other members of KASS. This provides a very full and active programme.
On the 12th September 1979, the Isle of Thanet Scottish Country Dancers were formed as an independent club. Prior to that time the group were part of the Hilderstone Further Education College.
Three different homes, five chairmen and nearly thirty years later the club is going strong, with membership fluctuating over the years, it has remianed at a fairly healthy level of 40 to 50 members.
